Concerned Citizens of Memphis (CCofM) has been committed to meeting people where they are and helping them move toward stability, self-sufficiency, and hope for more than 26 years. We serve the disenfranchised citizens of Memphis through a holistic, community-centered approach that addresses immediate needs while creating pathways to long-term success.
What sets CCofM apart is that we don't simply provide services; we help people build sustainable futures. By combining housing stability, food security, youth intervention, workforce development, and community support under one mission-driven organization, we create opportunities that strengthen individuals, families, and the Memphis community as a whole. Our goal is simple: help people move from surviving to thriving.
Providing meals and basic necessities to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity and hardship.
Expanding access to safe, stable, and affordable housing that promotes independence, dignity, and community connection.
The program is designed to empower fathers and father figures with the tools, support, and resources they need to strengthen family relationships, and become positive role models for their family.
Delivering prison prevention, gang redirection, mentoring, life-skills programs, and a focus on sports and arts designed to help young people make positive choices and build brighter futures.
Equipping individuals with employability skills, interview preparation, resume support, career coaching, and job placement assistance.
Connecting individuals and families to housing resources, supportive services, medical resources, educational opportunities, and community partners.
